Hardman Trail
The Hardman Heritage Trail is a flat, easy, paved 1.1-mile path that goes from the southern entrance at Hardman Farm to the northern entrance at Edelweiss Strasse and Kollock Strasse near the Helen Water Park. The walk is perfect for all ages, strollers, wheelchairs, dogs and bikes. The well maintained path takes you beside the beautiful Chattahoochee River with views of waterfalls.
Dukes Creek Falls
Dukes Creek Trail is a favorite local hike. It is a moderate 2 mile round trip that takes you down through a forest of waterfalls, streams and beautiful vistas. The bottom of the trail has two gorgeous overlooks, a swimming hole for children and pets, and stunning views of the 150 foot tall falls. The hike is 10 minutes from Helen, Ga.
Raven Cliff Falls
A favorite North Georgia hike, Ravens Cliff Falls will not disappoint. The 5 mile round trip hike takes you by beautiful, cascading waterfalls and ends with the twin towering falls above. The path is well worn and is considered a moderately easy hike with enough hills to keep your heart rate up. Just 12 minutes from Helen, Ga.

Enjoy this 3 miles one way trail near Helen, Ga. The trail winds its way through rhododendron and mt. laurel
Unicoi State Park charges a fee to enter. You can also choose to hike this trail from the town of Helen. No fees. There is a convenient free parking lot available at the trailhead in Helen just up from Hofer's Bakery and Restaurant.
Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 hours to complete (one way).
The trail follows a picturesque path through the woodlands of Unicoi State Park. The scenery, trail conditions, markings and light foot traffic make it an enjoyable hike.
The Helen to Unicoi Tail offers a variety of scenery including Lower Smith Creek, bridges, meadows, waterfalls and forests. The trail has been recently re-blazed and is well maintained.
